Between her treatment being delayed and also feeling the weight of Marcia's(RN) grief at the loss of her sister to cancer, Lesa is feeling very sick. Robert(RN) called to say that a meeting had delayed the start of his regular visits for today, and therefore he will not make it to Lesa until at least 5pm, when her first days infusion would normally be finished! This is unavoidable as only so many of the agencies visiting nurses have the added skills needed to do the type of infusion that Lesa receives. One thankful note is that JoAnn (homemaker/friend) is with her while she is waiting, and that makes a huge difference to her morale. Thanks guys, you rock!
