My cousin always told me that the lights of life never went out. They just kept going on and on forever and always. Sure, there was a meaning in that when I was little that I never understood. But hey, I was seven. She always told me that never take a thing for granted, and always let things come to you. In good time, they always will. Never really understood that either until now. Lost almost everything that was worth something to me. Wish I would have listened. Yet now.. I learned. Learned that I shouldn't take things as they seem but embrace them as if they were upon you for a reason. The reason of life, love, and freedom. My cousin always told me that things weren't as they appear. My cousin always told me that life was full of surprises. She's now passed and gone, but I always remember....what my cousin told me.
