This is a group for all Football Lovers! We will be here to have fun with each other, pick the games and support our teams! We have the right to rag each other too...... all in good fun ofcourse. Gotta love some football!!
Well, we are are the final games before the Super bowl in three weeks. Conference games are worth 6 points I believe with 6 points for exact total points for both teams. I believe Bugsbunny hit 30 points total for the Bills-Ravens game and got the extra 4 points (congrats to you Bugs). Catching up now is not going to be easy but that total points could be a game changer. So Kiddies, here are the two games for next Sunday, Jan 24th. One game changer for next week could be with Kansas City. Mahomes was injured in the Divisional Game and may be out for this one.

Before you do your picks, I thought I'd give you some local intel on Mahomes. His injury incurred in the third quarter of Sunday's game doesn't appear to be a concussion. Some of the local MDs weighed in on the news and said the injury was more comparable to a whiplash a boxer would suffer after a vicious hook.
So far, he has passed all of the NFL concussion protocol tests and we will know more tomorrow when the Chiefs hold their first weekly practice. Coach Reid said that Patrick actually felt good enough to return to the game on Sunday, but had to sit out due to the concussion protocol.
So, Coach is preparing game plans for both Mahones and Henne. So I guess what I am trying to say is that the Chiefs are covered regardless of which QB starts! Henne wasn't that bad, given that he hasn't really played since 2013 and with the core of talent around him, I have full confidence in him.
Since I no longer have dog in the fight for the fake Lombardi trophy, I am happy to share local updates! :)

Mahomes was practicing yesterday, although he remains in concussion protocol, and also good signs that Sammy Watkins and Edwards-Helaire will play. Weather forecast is for cold rain intermittently throughout the game but both teams are used to playing in those conditions.
