I made salt cod fish, boiled potatoes , green cooking bananas, steamed spinach. I cooked the salt cod fish with onions, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, cajun seasoning and black pepper. I cooked the spinach with sodium free chicken bouillon, onion powder, garlic powder, fresh diced onions, black pepper. I boiled the salted boneless cod fish in a pot with fresh water three times and threw off the water before I cooked in with the onions minced garlic and seasoning. I cooked the potatoes and green bananas in boiling hot water with a little olive oil and a little piece of salted cod fish that is salty. I let the water come up to a boil before I add the bananas that have been slices down the middle and left whole so that the skin will be easy to remove when they are cooked and the top and bottom of the bananas are removed with a knife. The bananas should be cooked in the skin to remain moist and tender and to keep the most nutrients. But don't add the bananas to the water until the water until it is boiling hot or they will become tough and the oil and salted cod helps to add salt to the bananas and potatoes while they cook and keeps everything from turning black when they cook .Only use a little oil like a tsp or or so to a whole pot of water.
