Yikes...everywhere we go these days......HOLIDAY FOOD! We so need to support each other & check in with victories & defeats...the key. let the defeat be momentary because a day turns into a week, into a month. Just let it be a moment & get right back on. I'm trying not to be discouraged at the slow pace I am losing...Only 9 lbs in 5 weeks. I used to lose sooo much faster...funny what the years do to the quick losing.

Tomorrow is my birthday...I am so blessed to be having this birthday...I know I will splurge as family taking me to Japanese Restaurant. It must just be 1 meal!

If it makes you feel better, remind yourself that the slower you loose, the longer you will probably keep the weight off. And Japanese food is usually lots of veges and seafood, so that is good for you. And I could definately use some cheering on myself.

Yes I agree with Marah. It is better to lose slower. Not only that just be thankful you aren't gaining. Happy birthday and enjoy yourself. I am scared to death about Christmas and also feel we need support. My husband finally knows about my binging and I htink I am going to make him stop me from eating during our Christmas eve party. I will make him help me stay in control.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
