Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

how many of you are like me, and just so sick of feeling bad about your body, but don't want to do anything about it except stay depressed and keep punishing yourself with food?
what if we had a friendly little weight-loss competition so we can all be in it together, and get what we want once and for all? we can post monthly picture updates, and just change our habits. everytime we feel like we need that sugar or salt or fat or just food in general, we get our workout clothes on and go to the gym instead?
it takes 21 days to make a habit and 21 days to break a habit.
lets break this habit of binging and make a habit of exercise!
anyone else with me?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I can totally relate--i keep losing and regaining the same five pounds--i've managed to keep it the same for a year give or take 5 pounds--guess thats better than gaining ten or more--but i want to join the competition--but i've tried everything--and i even lost ten pounds at one point then i give up--binge--then i get motivated again and then binge again--its a vicicous cycle i've battled for 6 yrs--but i guess with graduation and summer comeing up--it doesn't hurt to try---count me in
I totally get what you are saying!!! I am in that exact vicious cycle. I feel like a hamster on a hamster wheel. GOING NOWHERE!!! I am in. A bit nervous...but in.
