HELP!!!
I feel like I have been doing well in trying to achieve my health and fitness goals.....during the week. But as soon as the weekends come, it is like an eating free-for-all!! I eat junk, have a few drinks.......and definately no excercising. I think if I could incorporate excercise into the weekends, that would motivate me to change my eating patterns, too. However, this is easier said than done for me, as this is definately an ingrained pattern that is extremely hard for me to break.
Any suggestions?????

before when my childrens father was more in the picture i would take advantage of the free time that i had available. i would treat at least either saturday or sunday as if it was a wkdy by still getting up early to workout! set that alarm!! leave one day open to sleep in and reward urself for a job well done at the end of a productive week! its all a mind game that u need to conquer...good luck :)

Get into something! A group or something. Get on a weekend team type of thing where you go and exercise somehow during the day (like a biking group). Then try to limit yourself to only one day where you can have an eating frenzy! Let me know how it goes! Good luck!

typically when you're having a few cocktails your inhibitions are lowered as well as your judgement about what kind of food/junk you take in. that being said, use one day as a reward day for your week's accomplishments. instead of doing your normal exercise routine do something different like rollerblading or biking or hiking, etc. will get you the physical activity and keep you away from slipping. its ok to let loose a little if you've had a good solid clean week of eating good and exercise. don't beat yourself up. embrace your accomplishments and live a little

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
