So I've just started doing HIIT twice a week. The first time I did it I had delayed onset muscle soreness afterwards but after a few days recovery was fine to go again. Then after my second session, the muscles felt alright - bit tight in the quads but mainly okay. So today I went to do my 3rd session today and I couldn't sprint, my quads were so sore! I was fine jogging, but it just came on when I started to sprint. What is this? How many days should I take off before I try again?
