As some of you know, and most of you don't, I got a bug to train for a 1/2 marathon. I jumped on the bandwagon, pushed myself hard and then had a thought.( within the last 2 weeks) This marathon is not until May, and I was trying to be prepared by the end of Aug. Realistic? Probably not. I currently run 3-4 miles 3 times a week. I thought that if I could increase my distance over the summer then by the end of Aug. I would be at 10 miles consistantly once a week and 4 miles twice a week. But to keep that up from Aug. to May seems crazy. Any thoughts?
