I just got the Polar F11 heart rate monitor for an early birthday gift. I love it, butI don't think that I fully utilizing it. Why does it beep at me to slow down some times? It beeps at me to speed up, which I get, but what happens when your heart rate gets too high? I am guessing that the answer is not as simple as 'you burn more calories'. I would really appreciate any advice because I want to maximize my cool new gift. Thanks!
