So I'm 5'8, 164 pounds. I've been dieting since around July 4th, when I was 169 pounds. So....two weeks, five pounds :( I want to be -at least- 140 by September and I have no idea how I can do that. Right now, I'm eating 1200 calories a day. I know it sounds like I'm cheating, but I'm not. I'm also doing mild exercise - walking, running, mopping the house, whatever works - for about an hour a day. I'm eating once every two or three hours, drinking a lot of water, all the tips I've heard and I can't get the weight to come off. I'm starting to get really discouraged. I've heard of the 2468 diet, but it sounds a little extreme - people say its supposed to keep your metabolism up, but I heard from other people that anything below 1200 a day screws your metabolism over. So...advice?
