Just wondering what songs get your moving. Here are some of the "workout" tunes I have on my ipod.
Mai Ai Hee* (Dragostea Sin Tei) Romanian Version (better known as the Numa Numa Song) by Ozone
Songs by the artist Thalia* (she's a Latin singer)
Flip Flop Fly from the Chicken Run Soundtrack
I Like to Move It from the Madagascar Soundtrack
Pon De Replay by Rhianna
I Will Survive by Gloria Gaylor
Nowhere to Run by John Avilla
Music of Latin, Carribean or African origin
*I don't speak these languages but sometimes it's less distracting to have songs in a different language. And, who knows, listen enough you might learn something too! : )

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...

I like fairly intense hardcore/metal too, but that's just me... try the song "Confined" by As I Lay Dying - for those of you who are turned off to the genre in general because of your religious or personal beliefs, you might try this song specifically - As I Lay Dying are very strongly Christian artists and cool guys, I've met them :)
Turtle Island String Quartet. Palestrina. Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Pointer Sisters. Bach.
I have been conscious, recently, that I do want to be careful how much time I spend plugged in, especially at the gym. In order to hear my tunes louder than the music the gym plays my iPod volume is set louder than if I'm listening in a quiet place. I guess this is by the way of saying enjoy your workout, enjoy your music, but keep the volume down as much as possible and limit the duration.
Or take up sign language, just in case!
peace,
Brian
