Hi, everyone! I'm Susan, mom to 4...with a body to prove it! I have 35 pounds to lose, and it's been tough. I believe I have a food addiction, but I always viewed "food addict" to be sononomous with morbidly obese, which I am not. I am, however, overweight and the heaviest I've ever been. My average weight through adulthood (AND after my first 3 pregnancies) is 98. I'm 5'2 and 140 now. I'm attempting to return to vegetarianism, but it's hard. I have anemia and tend to crave red meat. So far, I'm getting by on beans, eggs, and nuts for my protein and iron. I also take supplements. I spent several years of my life practicing yoga, taking kickboxing, and weightlifting at the gym...BUT it's been 6 years, since I had a regular fitness schedule. I have a long way to go! My plan is to start small...20 minutes of yoga daily, 30 minutes of cardio on M, W, F, and 100 crunches per day. I think, after a week or two of that, I can add more time. Any other suggestions? Eventhough I have experience, it's been so long that I feel like a beginner!
