Is there anyone else out there who can share their experiences with procrastination? And no, I don't mean the run-of-the-mill variety, but the kind where you put priorities on the back burner and focus on the little meaningless stuff.
The reason I'm asking is because I've spent the last couple of days paying the price (literally in this case) for putting off things that should have been done years ago. It's also put a huge amount of strain on my marriage and family.
At least I can say that I am finally confronting these issues, but it is a lot like "eating that frog" (a term I read in a book about dealing with procrastinating)

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
Along the way .. I also learned .. that with faith .. all things are possible. I don't, as of this moment, know how I'm going to get out of the mess I've created .. but I am confident that I will, as that is my heart felt desire.
Congratulations for confronting your issues .. sometimes eating the frog is not too tasty .. but necessary work.
My hat is off .. to you ..
How proud you must be that you have taken the first step which is to recognize that there is a problem and the stress that it has put on your family.
My husband has spent money and moved money around to the tune of $50,000 without ever consulting me. Now we risk loosing our house, cars and everything that I have worked so hard for.
The main problem that you are going to face is trust in your marriage or family.
