Why... Why do they make it so easy!! My hubby and I are in a temporary (I hope) cash crunch due to him being out of work following surgery. In the mean time we are trying to get by on about half of what we used to make. This means for the time being that some bills will be late. Hopefully we will be caught up on everything within a few months. So today I open my mail and we get a notice from one of our credit cards that they raised our avaiable credit. How tempting is that? ..... I could just go to the ATM and have the cash to pay the late bills and not get late fees. BUT then I would be paying huge interest. Plus... using all the available credit lowers your FICO score. So right now I am pretending I never saw it. I don't want to use it. I know it would just be more trouble down the road. We swore not to use our credit any more and I want to stick with it. I feel like this is the ultimate test. I hope we make it through this crisis without bringing ourselves to the point of bankruptcy. I really wished we would have saved for this. We always intended to but when your just getting by day to day it's hard. So even if it seems like saving $5 a week or month isn't much.. do it. You never know when you really will need it!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
