Just an idea. I was looking for a second job but because of my illness, can't do anything really physical. I found a company that helps seniors. It is a non-medical assistance service. I'm sure they are all over the country. It doesn't pay a lot but every little bit helps. I only work one night a week for three hours. You can work more and also do overnights. I help with shopping, some light cleaning and also provide companionship. It makes me feel good when I know I am helping the person remain independent. I tried working at a department store but it was way too demanding. I have a full time office job so my brain is pretty tired at the end of the day. There is such a need for this kind of service, people want to be able to live on their own as long as possible.
