hey there-i'm very new to this community, and i hope to get some advise. here's the story.
10 months ago my hubby had emergency quadruaple bypass. he was out of work for over 3 months. i only work part-time, when our kids are in school. therefore, this makes hubby almost the sole provider for our family. (lesson learned here)since he was out of work for so long, and we have lots and lots of medical bills, and credit card debt (tried to stay aflot while he was out of work). the money we had set aside for property taxes got chewed up as well. 2 days ago we recd. info that we have 4 weeks to come up with the 3500.00 in back due property tax money or they're gonna sell/take our home. we can't go to the bank and apply for a loan, since we are already up to our eye balls in debt, and there are no family members we can turn to for help. there is no equity in our home, as we've only been here going on 2 years. i would like to think i am a chrisitan, however, my faith is being challenged, to say the least. i have been told to ask anybody, and everybody for prayer over this financial situation. but there has to be something else that i'm missing...any suggestions?
thanks much

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The last thing your mortage company wants to do is to have you lose your property to the tax board. Call them, explain the situation, and maybe they can escrow your back taxes. It worked for us. They can escrow back taxes....call them....keep in touch with me and let me know what they say...
First, find out if you have a pre-payment penalty on your mortgage. If you do, you would almost HAVE to wait until it's released (2 yrs usually)
Second, who is your mortgage company might I ask? You may want to go through a credit union. They are a lot more flexible in these types of situations.
Third, get started NOW! A new loan may take up to 4 weeks so you have no time to spare.
Send me a message if you need anymore advice =)
