We have to file for bankruptcy and I'm very afraid. Our lawyer says it's really not that bad. He says that because we don't have that much equity in our house, etc. that they will not take any of our property. We are current on the mortgage and car payments. Our problem is credit card debt. Has anyone gone through bankruptcy? Will my life be totally ruined? Is the lawyer correct in saying that if we really don't own much and that our mortgage and cars are current that we will not lose any of our property? Can anyone please offer any helpful information? I'm very afraid but we're told we have no other choice!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
