Does anyone know if collection agencies can garnish your wages or attach your bank accounts? I realize that every state is different but was wondering if it's possible. I have two if not three hospitals getting ready to let go of their attack dogs...coll. age. and I have some money stashed away (bank) for when I have to leave and want to make sure that no one can get their hands on it. I realize that its an unsecured debt but not sure what their rights are. If anyone can shed some light it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!
