I am a Vietnam Veteran and never asked for anyone for any assistance but I recently lost my sight for periods of hours (due to a Diabetic situation) during a college course and University of Phoenix Online sent back my college loan to my lender and dropped me from entering classes. While not legal, if you do not have money you do not get help. I need assistance getting back in class while I deal with my vision problems. I have no income from any source as I have worked out of my checkbook for the last two years while in College. Due to tuition and living expense increases I have had to sacrifice. My heat in central New York State winter has been set at 58, while I worked in a coat, I have not been able to buy enough gas to get my low fuel light in my car to go out in over two years. I eat two meals a day. After all this sacrifice I have had my career crushed because I became blind during one class at the University of Phoenix Online and now have been turned to collection. My GPA after 11 courses is 3.62 and I am liked by professors and classmates.

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
