Hi, I just received a letter from a credit agency offering me a settlement offer on a debt. They say I owe $222.74 and are willing to settle for $55.69. Here is my question, the debt they say I owe is for an electric bill in a house my husband and I lived in almost 12 years ago. How has this not come to my attention before and how long can they come after me for a bill I'm not even sure I owe? I can not remember that far back if I owed the bill or not. I have the same electric company now and am wondering why they wouldn't have just added it to the bill I currently have or why it didn't have to be paid before I opened an account in the new house. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jenn

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
