I have such a bad time with being completely exhausted and I have no energy to do any thing.
I have read a lot of profiles that talk about PROVIGIL and how much it helps. I am talking to one of my doctors today and asking for a prescription of it but I want to know what you all think about it and if it helped you at all. I hate things that make my heart race so commenting on that as well would be great. I would also like to know if it gave you more energy.
If you have anything that has worked for you please feel free to add it. Any and all info would help.
I just feel like I could lay in bed all day and love it... That scares me to death....
Thnaks for any and all info,
V

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I don't like to push meds...but if it's necessary...DO IT!!!!
Hugs and love, Morus...
I know what you mean about staying in bed...I spend more time there than I like to admit... lately I've had more energy since I went on Wellbutrin (for depression from FM). Every little bits helps, huh?
Soft hugs, Deb
Give it a shot! ;)
Love again!

It is definitely worth a try.
I do better when I take a day or two off or half the med unless I get up REALLY EARLY in the morning!
Hope that helps!
I've been on Provigil now for about 7 months. My doctor said the same thing that Xavion's did.I'm not a shift worker, so I had to have a sleep study done first and if I had Sleep Apnea(I do), she would start me on Provigil. I started on 100mg in the morning and that didn't do much, so she increased the dosage to 200mg and I actually have more energy for about 6 to 8 hours every day! I just have to be careful to not do too much, or I am in wicked pain for days! I haven't really noticed any bad side effects. Give it a try. The only thing is, if you take it for awhile and want to quit, you have to go off it a little at a time, or, you may have withdrawal symptoms. As far as I'm concerned, it's a wonder drug!
