Happy (insert your holy celebration) weekend, all!
So, the lawyer basically said that since I have no maiming or death (yep, the dead always call lawyers) that the hospital system is off the hook for letting me slide through so many cracks and so forth. Lesson learned. Your life is worthless if you can't prove worth. Got it.
I got 2/3 way through making choc chip cookie dough before I had to ask Hubby's help, then supervised the b aking of the actual cookies. Techniques etc. Fine points. He was about ready to flip out but then he remembered: cookies!
I hope no one minds my trying to do Check-ins again... If you do, holler!
Typing is now part of my OT. Despite the fact my wrist/arm look like the wrong end of a karate kick. Eh. Is what it is.
So, did you know... (everyone groans)
There's a thing called "thunderstorm asthma"? It's postulated at the moment (by some)t hat pollen particles absorb mositure and break apart into smaller particles that are then readily inhaled, thus irking the respiratory system. Nobody has ever proved that by actual scientific method... so odds are, it's the changing atmospheric conditions stirring up particles of any kind imaginable.
That said, "thunderstorm asthma" outbreaks related to severe weather outbreaks can result in people needing to call emergency services due to the intensity of the breathing difficulty.
Yet most aren't asthmatics. Most, however, *are* allergic in the classic "hay fever" fashion, which suggests that it's just pollen particle overload, like inhaling any dust, smog, etc. The body can't stand all that extra stuff getting in the lungs and they have particularly strong reactions.
THat said, good thing I don't get that problem, b/c it's so pollen-y here before the storms that our black cat was gilded by pollen every day this week. Adorable tills he sneezes. Then its' cat snot and pollen to clean up. Yay...
Random note: The Dolly Parton song "Jolene" was based on her insecurity that her husband (married since 1966, btw) was of interest to a tall redhead. No straying occurred, but yes, "Jolene" was real.
and that's all I can manage, but I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend... I am going batpoop crazy with boredom. about 3-4 hours of my day are suddenly empty b/c I can't do (fill in long list) yet. ARGBH.. My house feels too filthy, I want to do my gardening, and so forth. Cook. I miss cooking. I do my best but Hubby's so clueless that by the time I explain something, I'm too tired toe at! My fault for cooking, I'm told. Hmm...
Absolute agony here, so keeping it brief. Forget it. (Well, I meant another eff word but...)Hugs and support. Just gonna be a long hot rotten day here, so...CUteness required...
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia earlier this month (May) and it really sucks. I have been in so much pain. It is so stressful dealing with another health problem for me. I hope these new meds work because this is really annoying and hard to deal with.
