Hi, im new to DS, i joined last week and have had such help off you all in that time! I was diagnosed last Nov with FM, after 2 years of trips to the Doc and being originally told i had CFS. Im still waiting for my Rheum appt at the hospital to come thru ( I called them yesterday, and they not got any referal letter! Now have to wait another 9 weeks!) What im wondering is what drugs i will be given? I was always led to believe that here in the UK, Amitriptyline is used along with anti-imflamitorys to treat FM. But this is not so in the States. What do they use to treat the all over pain and does it help sleep? Im a bit confused! I also thought it was possible to have CFS and FM, but my GP said he wouldnt " label" me with both?! I just need advice. Thanks everyone xx

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
