I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Definitely talk to your doc in depth about your meds ,maybe they can be changed to give you relief and stay awake.
You mentioned your daughtr's health and I'm sure this stress is aggrivating your flare.I will be praying for your family and the team that will be taking care of her.
You asked about how to handle situations when you are so out of it. One of the hardest things for me to was to relinquish control , but after 3 yrs of my hubby and I going thru this we have reached a point that we are more comfortable with me being able to say"I just can't" or I want to try to..."and usually when I volunteer to do something he stands by to step in if I need it.He has completely taken over the bill paying and knows that things have to written down , because all to often in 10 mins it will be gone.I retired from a career in nursing due to the pain and fog..and I thank God that I was able to help so many for so long , and I have reached a point in my life to let others take care of me.
I certainly do not feel qualified to advise you on your meds , as for myself , I am searching for ways to get away from them.
I hope you can find some balance in your life...I will be watching the board for the results of your daughter's surgery.

In addition, to everything else you need to see your doctor and explain everything going on and get them to get the pain under control. There is a shot they can give you in the drs. office but I don't remember the name. It helps calm the pain down so that you can get it under control with your right medications.
I will keep your family in my prayers and I just can't imagine what it is like to go through having your daughter so sick too. I thank God everyday for my husband who has started trying to understand and pitchs in to help when needed.
Sending prayers for you and daughter,
Love and hugs,
Annie
