You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. fatigue: Increase B12, try and get 8 hrs of sleep a night, try Provagil sp?
leg pain - B12 injections, wedge cushion, ergonomic chair, muscle rubs
sacroiliac joint pain - chiropractor, trigger point massage, osteopathic exercises, diagnosis of arthritis, take medication (Voltaren) or the supplement SAMe.
arm/shoulder pain - osteopathic and physio exercises, acupuncture with TENS machine, muscle rubs, heating pads, ice. My mom got cortisone injections for her frozen shoulder.
back pain - chiropractor, cortisone injections, acupuncture with TENS, get checked for Ankylosing Spondylitis.
neck pain - do scarf exercises, stretches, neck pillow, memory foam pillow
insomnia - try Melatonin, RX sleep aid or meditation. Get a sleep study done.
pain in feet - see a foot doc, wear proper insoles, get Reflexology done and get B12 checked
headaches - RX medication, neck stretches, cold compress, CoQ10 supplement
Nerve pain - B12 injections, Neurontin or Lyrica. Get checked for restless leg syndrome.
Dizziness - B12 injections, get your proprioception checked, get hip checked for Ankylosing Spondylitis or Reactive Arthritis (if your hip is shorter than the other, twisted or out, you're going to have problems with walking)
Take a daily vitamin, reduce stress (meditate), add fish oil, Kyolic garlic, get some type of fresh air and exercise (mild, stretching, walking, swimming etc)
IBS - get tested for Celiac's Disease, lactose tolerance and other allergies. B12 deficiency can cause major stomach issues. Try a gluten free, wheat free diet for a few months and see if you improve. Add Acidophilus with bifidus (20 billion+ live cultures, keep in fridge) and digestive enzymes.
Depression - try 5-HTP (natural antidepressant), RX antidepressant, meditation, listen to music, increase vitamin D, light therapy and psychiatric therapy.
Get a good memory foam mattress, pillow, high thread count sheets. Be aware of your posture, get ergonomic everything...shoes, chair, etc.
Rest when needed. Don't take on more than you can do. Learn to say no. Try and do something active every day and try massage and aqua therapy. I hope it does last for you but if it doesn't, I hope I have given you some more options to try.
