I want to sleep all day, since night isn't working, and then stroll about naked to prevent more sweat-soaked clothing. Good for the environment! Nudity! Woot! No waste of water awshing those silly clothes! YAY!

Today marks the patent anniversary for the building blocks childhood favorite we know as "Lincoln Logs". They were made of redwood, then plastic, and now back to wood again. My set were redwood (yes, I'm old.)
Little known tidbit. The inventor of Lincoln logs was the son of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Not bad.
Why called Lincoln Logs? Some think it was the nickname "linkin' logs" (linking logs) or that it was for the log-cabin origin story of President Abraham Lincoln. In any case, I owed many a splinter to my set, and loved them dearly!
