Well, I'm flat on my back and if anything from neck to waist is in place, it's by accident. My mother was a trip yesterday, in a "Dante tours Hell" sort of way. We're alive, but yeesh! We had to pay $50 nuisance fee (from her account, btw, not ours) for the way she acted to the carpet cleaners. *headdesk*
Meanwhile, if you think you've heard the dumbest thing ever...
A house fire in Wiesbaden, Germany this week was caused by children playing indoors with... no, not matches... *Fireworks*. Amazing what a Roman candle does in a living room. Wow.
A bank robbery here was foiled when --- and I jest not --- the thief told them to deposit the money in his account. Umm... That kinda gave the clerk all his info... Yeah... that was... Well, let's just say slam-dunk and Wow!
One of the causes of forest fires 100-130 years ago was trains. Sparks or embers from the smokestack would set off (usually quite small) fires. In fact, in Canada, railway fires are still quite common, but most are (again) quite small and self-extinguish or are easily put out. Others, no. Yep. Didn't know that, did ya? Even in the era of electric motors, trains cause fires. Nobody can seem to figure out if it's sparks from braking or what exactly keeps doing it, but there you go.
In West Virginia, a great fear arose that some raccoons were rabid. Nope. Their odd behavior turned out to be... they were drunk. Fermented fruit. I've never seen that myself, but where I grew up, the deer cleaned up the apples long before they could ferment to any degree. So, yes, drunk raccoons.

And now you're boggled, or at least not thinking of the usual things, and may you have a warm and comfy weekend. :-)
Oh, Hubby's stitches came out, healing looks good! As long as no scar tissue forms in a bad way, all clear on his eye:-)
