Dixie got a mouse.
Problem: They are indoo-ronly cats.
Mouse ergo got indoors.
With all the blasted wildlife around my place, WTH?
Anyway, mouse is dead (hubby used my no-longer-favorite-frying-pan, ew) and I am in a panic. The ONLY place I can't clean is under/behind my kitchen stove, b/c it was bolted in. (Lest we sue Home Depot for it falling over on us somehow, no joke, alas, that's why.) And I can't get in there to unbolt it. I pull out the big broiler drawer and clean as best I can, but... Well, youc an tell, I am in mucho panic mode. What did I DO WRONG?!
Then again, who knows? Pest control will come once we're pst the weekend. Ever notice how things like this have to hit when nothing can be done till Monday at earliest? *headdesk*
Before you ask: I hvae cats! Two inside. Neighbor cats outside. Also pest-unfriendly herbs (peppermint, for example). And my regular cleaner has a bit of ammonia, so my house should smell vaguely of Predator Urine. Hubby is laughing that the mouse was suicidal. Well, if it was, it sure chose the wrong house. Should've gone next door. Their one cat is so hungry she hunts to *eat* if I don't feed her.
Meanwhile, Dahlia is a PURRito ---- she lay on a piece of fleece and I folded it over her, an dshe's perfectly content. Too cute. I hope I can get a pic. Nope. Dang. Oh well.

I present you with...The amazing Dorkitties! My ador(k)able cats today had the epic classic moment where Dixie rushed up the stairs and Dahlia had just turned the corner, nose down, sniffing out a lost treat... And they saw each other. Now, they sleep within 3 feet of each other, have been caught snuggling, etc. You'd think...
