I just had to post this bit of information.
The real news is this. My doctor told me that research is indicating that Fibro patients have low levels of Vit. D. Whether that causes the disease or is one of the effects of the disease is really not known. The test for Vit. D is a simple blood test. When you have your blood work done, just ask to have the Vitamin D levels checked. Any doctor, general practitioner or specialist should be aware of what normal levels are. And, you will need a prescription, because the over the counter stuff just simply does not supply enough absorbable Vitamin D.
I always took a Calcium supplement with Vitamin D and a multi-vitamin with Vitamin D, but my doctor told me that would never be enough if I had a deficiency.
I take a Vitamin D supplement prescribed by my doctor. Between my all natural supplement and the Vitamin D, it has made a tremendous difference in my energy and sleep levels. With improvement in those areas, I have improved overall. I still have some Fibro Fog, but it is slowly getting a bit better.
It has done so much to help me, I wanted to share with everyone. It is such a simple solution. Get those Vitamin D levels checked, please.
Prayers and hugs.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Ted would be so proud of this thread ;)
