Hi all: I hope you all are feeling well and making it through this cold, cold winter. My rheumtaologist has me on vicodin ES 4x a day, but I'm begun having severe muscle pain in my back. The vicodin doesn't even come close to touching this muscle pain. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Are the two types of pain meds ever used in combination? I'm seeing a new doctor, who is referring me to a new rheumatologist asap. Trigger point injections from one doc helped the back muscle pain, but this doc I saw today doesn't do them. He just gave me a sample of Lyrica (thinking I might have a pinched nerve?) Anyway, I'm just curious about all of your experiences with different pain meds, including those such as vicoding (that don't work on muscle pain) vs. muscle relaxers. Thanks and again I hope you all are surviving this cold winter - it always makes the fibro flare up, doesn't it?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
