Four hours of sleep.
Today I finally see the doc! Maybe we can start detangling my scarring so my bones go back where they belong again... No muscle tone and strength in the world can help you if the scarring blocks it, soooo.... Anyway....
Truism: statest the obvious and is neither new nor interesting
I beg to differ.
It is a truism that, for every ten minutes a guest spends in my home, my cat Dahlia will freak out for one hour. Yeah, she calmed down around... uh... now? Yeah. (Hubby had a pal to supper. ANd, yes, HE made supper.)
It is a truism that, even with a pizza bought from teh store, my husband will make a mess in the kitchen.
It is a truism that th ealarm clock is my hsuband's sworn enemy, and wakes him with malice aforethought, three minutes early, every day. It has nothing to do at all with his inability to set the damn thing to the correct time so it corresponds to his wristwatch. *headdesk*
If there is a cat, it will find me. Yep, okay,t hat one's obvious and boring. (Half-grown black kitty I'm calling Slinky for now.)
Insomnia is directly proportional to exhaustion. Not vice versa. Stupid bodies not doing what we tell them!
Truism: Any team I root for will, can, and shall most definitely give me no joy by the end of any given sports season, though the team may raise my hopes merely to crush them, and, yes, this is of course a personal vendetta of the teams against just me;-)
Truism: Tom Brady isn't human. (Sorry. It's NFL Preseason. I'll be saner once we hit the World Series and it distracts me. Actually, no. Never mind.)
Truism: You have to be bored as **** to invent golf, curling, or ping pong. Yet all are Olympic sports. And we owe two to Scotland. Hmm.
OK, off to the day! Keeping everyone in heart and mind:-)
I went to get more trigger point injections in my neck and shoulders. The doctor did more this time than he did last time. After the injections, My arms shoulders and neck have been sore for days, which is normal. But the problem is that I think the shots aggravated the peripheral neuropathy that I have in my arms and hands. Iimmediately after the shots the neuropathy, the pain, the numbness,...
Good morning! And it's been morning for me for a while. Alas.Four hours of sleep. Down at midnight (finally! the muscle relaxant kicked in and my back unkinked!)... and up when it wore off. Four hours. Ping! I see the doc again ASAP, but ASAP means "stand by for his phone call and run out door". Oh boy... As it's the weekend, I predict I will need another round of scar-scanning and so forth....
