Mom's eye surgery went well for Mom.
I'm never eating tomato or egg white again, and I refuse to explain that, just assume we finally found what turns my stomach inside out.
I screamed awake at 230 AM from a PSTD nightmare, and my scream was so loud that Hubby just about left a faceprint on the ceiling.
Hubby invited osmeone to supper yesterday, told me at 11 PM Sunday, and I told him "Frozen pizza, dude!" and then the guest arrived 30 minutes early, and was so freaking blase about it... Excuse me? He just said, "Oh, well, I messaged you on Facebook."
Uh.... That's nice. And I'm on Facebook how often? Oh wait... And Hubby only checks his (a work-related FB thing) in th emorning. And you can see a little green dot saying if the person is online, and check to see if they saw the message, but he just showed up, not waiting for confirmation we KNEW...
Dahlia was so upset she peed the floor, Dixie froze up, and I was stuck with everything not-really-done in terms of cleaning up and getting the cats settled in their Safe Space... (Dahlia is particularly prone to freak otu for days afterwards, and is deeply freaked out by men with deep voices, such as our guest...ARGH...)
So... Sleep? For other people. Me? I'm toast.
Mom's got her follow-up in a few hours, then I can sleep (I hope?) and with luck the cats won't pee on everything to reclaim their turf the way they did last time we had a dinner guest of any kind. Human, that is. THey are fairly mellow abou tthe Cat B&B thing.
Weird factoid for your day: Toast was originally made from stale or stale-going bread. Using even reasonably fresh bread was not common, and the reason you toasted it was to enhance its flavor as it went stale...
OK, now you know. I'm off! GOod day, everyone:-)_
Today is my Birthday. This day had always been a special day for me. Thank you all for all for all the support you have given me through out the years i have been here. Thank you for getting me through tough times.Scott
Hey, all. No therapy today! And little sleep *again*. The weather went from "nromal" to "storm" to --- brace yourself --- 60*F by noon today. That's a lot in 72 hours for the old fibro barometer body!***The average age of a US citizen identifying as a "farmer" by occupation is 58 years old.
