I keep reading that the DEA are breathing down doctors necks and they are really cracking down on Docs who prescribe narcotics for pain. I wonder, when/how did this all start? How much do they have to prescribe before they get into trouble? And, if they are pain MGMT. docs, how in the world do they even get into trouble prescribing something for pain? I have in my profile that I have a prescription drug problem. But I am also in a lot of pain and I didn't start needing pain killers until I was in real pain. Now I think the doctors convinced me I was an addict just so they could push something new on me. How can we fight this? I am really angry right now. I posted this before but my pain MGMT. doc said he didn't believe fibro was real. He prescribed me Lyrica and flexiril. I think they are both new. As I sit here in pain, I want some answers! I of course love you guys and I'm not mad at you. But if anyone has info on this let me know. Jen
