And today in 1995, Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive game appearances by clocking in 2,131. Gehrig had died in the 1940s, to give you an idea how long taht record stood. Whether or not Ripken used non-legit substances to help his performance... Well, as long as there's been humans finding ways to "enhance performance" (in any arena)... Yeah. They still think ground up rhino horn will help virility in some regions of the world.. I don't know yes or no on Ripken, but I hope *no*. We need some clean heroes, y'know?
I have PT today --- gotta tell her massage only or I walk out (and after resting and self-treating and giving time to heal, wow, gee, this week I feel better!) and then a tree expert comes to give us an estimate on cutting back our trees so next door keeps her lawyer on a leash.
