I have Bee Feet! Check out my present from Hubby for Christmas! I was so upset that he gave them to me this morning. Thus, you see a glamor shot of me holding them in front of my face and my navy blue sweatshirt.
Hubby's bloodwork showed something hinky. He just had it six motnhs ago, perfect. Now, hinky. Best case, a fluke. Sorta best, dietary fix or something. Worst case, he's bleeding internally, like Mom, only not as severely. Ironically, our lifestyle/diet is designed to lower hematocrit --- we're nonsmoking leafy-green-eating antioxidant swilling veg-heads --- but we've never had this issue before. EVER. I'm 40-plus years a vegetarian (milk included, b/c damn, me give up cheese and chocolate? Hell no). Never once anemic or low this or that. NEVER. Hubby... low red blood cell count, low hematocrit, inexplicable fatigue, and I forget the other bloodwork thing.
Well, atop my mom... I just broke down. That was it. Gone city.
We're skipping the planned attempted walk at a 5K tomorrow. Doc wants him to rest over the weekend, poop on a stick, and a couple other not-fun things, and report in Monday morning first thing to the office. Then Hubby went and cheered *me* up, FFS. So I plan to make him an apple pie. He loves apple pie, and it'll keep me busy.
So, here's my Pollinated Bee Feet! (Slippers, actually. I tried to take apic on my feet, but this blasted laptop...)
Blessed Frideay,a ll.

Good morning, from the land of "I slept 5 hours, but God forbid Hubby not wake me to ask me if we should check the cats, then he goes back to sleep and I am awake to deal with cats...." BTW, no neighborhood cats out in this lovely 10*F (-4*C) with nasty wind child weather. He was worried about ours. Who sleep on a sleeping bag and are probably sleeping more than I get to, an din more comfort....
