good morning and don't be deceived. Terror in this case was raelized the power went out so we slept through the alarm. The trash guys arriving woke us. On one hand, yay, sleep. On the other, utter terror as Hubby realized he's meant to be at work about 15 minutes after he wakes up. Whoops. And today? He haas to work in the office. WHich is 30 minutes away (not many miles, but town traffic, blah). Yeah, that's been fun (sorta?)

Despite a cold snap, we did our cookout instead of traditional dinner. It was fun, particularly when the cats (LilMiss) decided marshmallows are fun to play with. S'mores cancelled, but the cat was batting marshmallows all over hte yard and then some. They're gone today, of course. Marshmallows are bait for raccoons and possums. Nom-nom-nom. Clena-up crew!
To kick off your day, this exchange between me and hubby.

Me: "Great *gonads*, you mean."
Hubby: "Same thing for a guy."

Blessed St. Stephen's Day! (Which is how my mom's family celebrated it, btw.)
