7 Years ago I was Diagnosed with CFS ~
4 Years ago I was Diagnosed with FM ~
My BIGGEST, Most Debillitating Symptoms are..
Heat Intolerance
Stress Intolerance
These 2 Remain Strong even tho I have Most of my OTHER Symptoms Under Control.
Recently someone said something in a Post about Orthostatic Intolerance ~
So the last few Days I have been researching That.
My Doc has a Holter Monitor on me right now, I wear til Wednesday..but according to the Research it is a TILT Table Test they use to Diagnose OI.
So WHY would she have an EVENT Monitor on me ? she says she wants to TRY to capture the Palpitations. I have been having Alot of those this past Month..along with a New Disturbing Symptom that At First I THOUGHT was a PANIC Attack, then I Related it to a Sudafed I Took..But it has Happened Several More Times Since, and I have Not taken anymore of the Decongestants.
When I Step into a Warm Shower...my Heart rate Kicks into RAPID Mode..I Mean WOW fast...I CAN take a bath, tho my heart rate Kicks up a bit..Not at ALL like when I step into the Shower..I get White & Blue DOTS in my Field of Vision..
As Soon as I get Out...Sit, and BREATH..Everything starts to settle down.
I also have LOW BP...
I drink ALOT of Water...but perhaps I Should add the Powerade back into the Mix again ? It Says that Drinking Lots of Water and Increasing Salts will help to get a Handle on this..
I don't have a HUGE issue just Standing from a sitting Position..a Bit of Light Headedness..but IF it is ALSO WARM at ALL...I am In Trouble.
Who here has OI or CFS ?
I have not paid Alot of Attention to my CFS Diagnosis, as My Fatigue Backed WAY off several Years ago..perhaps it is Time to Attack that side as well..

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I know alot of people that have lung problems experience shortness of breath when taking showers and this can cause your heart rate to increase because it is trying harder to keep the oxygen level up.
You might want to get a lung function test done.
Alot of people with CFS end up with both heart and lung problems.
Hope everything turns out all right and you continue to improve and get things under control.
Sending Hugs & Prayers,
