I would like to know what kinds of measures that each of you take in order to try and get some descent sleep? I for one have a rather multi way of getting comfortable enough to try to sleep. If I lay on my right side, I have to have 2 pillows under my left arm to keep the left shoulder level so that it doesn't pull and cause more pain. But I can't lay on that side very long because of my right side having more pain in the shoulder and arm all together. And that arm goes numb if I lay on it too long. And I always have to place another pillow between my knees as I can't stand my knees to touch one another because of the knee joint pain. I do have some arthritis in my joints. If I lay on my left side, I have to do the same thing. But I usually have to pull both of my arms up close to my body in a criss cross way to keep the muscles from hurting by the pressure of stretching them out. So I usually end up on my back. I have to place a pillow on each side of me to rest my arms on. I usually position them in the middle of my forearm for the most comfortable position and the least pain in my shoulder area. And I have to have one leg on the pillow or under both knees. So I flop this way every night like a fish out of water. It usually takes me an hour to finally get comfortable enough to go to sleep. And then I wake up in pain a couple of hours later because I have moved one of the pillows in my sleep. It gets so frustrating for me and I get stressed out from being woke up by the pain in my shoulders, arms and back. What are some of your ways of getting comfortable enough to sleep with this illness?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
