I know that a lot of us have a problem with sleeping but I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has figured out how to get a full nights rest(without taking meds) and feel rested in the morning. I am about to go crazy trying to get some good sleep without taking a pill. Any advice?

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. There is a natural herb called Valerian Root that you can buy over the counter that helps with sleep alot. It smells gosh aweful, but not on the person taking it.
It says on the bottle how many capsules to take. In the past it has helped me within about 30 mins of taking them.
All natural, no side effects that I experienced.

My Dr. wants me to have a sleep test but I am freaked that I will just be lying there all night and go crazy!!!! Wish I could help you!
Thank Goodness for naps is all I have to say ;)
I know for me my sleep began to normalize when I made dietary changes. I switched to all organic food and after a couple weeks my pain went away and I began to get better more restorative sleep. I also take wholefood supplements that help me with fatigue throughout the day. Are you against taking pills in general or just medications? My husband (who doesn't have fibro, but has sleeping problems) takes melatonin and it helps him sleep all night long. Though my 'normalizing' is different than your's may be (since you're not getting a full nights rest) I do think better nutrition is a key for your body to be able to find the right amount of sleep and to have the ability to give it to you. Good luck.
