I had an oopherectomy (ovaries out) in August and a bump appeared on the inside of my outer thigh and pain began after that. The gynecologist said this might be because he cut into part of my nerve and this would get better over time. I was just diagnosed with fibro recently so I have pain all over. My leg did get better for a while but now it's gotten worse. The pain shoots all through my leg and today it shot through my knee so bad it knocked me down! Could this have anything to do with fibro? I am seeing a pain specialist now but I didn't ask him about this leg pain because we were discussing fibro and my leg wasn't hurting that day. I'm wondering if I should go back and talk to him about it or go see my regular doctor. Since there is a bump I keep thinking it might be cancer or something. I hope it's just the nerve thing that my gyno told me it was but nobody has run any tests on it so it could be anything. I am posting this on the fibro, chronic pain, and hysterectomy forums. I hope this post isn't too confusing! If anyone knows what this might be and what I should do than please let me know! Thanks. Jen
