Good Morning,
Yesterday was a really tough day for me, but I lived and it got better as the night came on. So today is going to be a fantastic day....I've decided that is how it is going to be, so there Monster.
According to "Woman's World" Magazine, your favorite holiday movie can tell a lot about you....
***If your favorite Holiday flick is:
A FIVE-HANKIE TEAR-JERKER,.......like Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol..... YOU'RE A CREATIVE IDEALIST
A WHIMSICAL CLASSIC....like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas......, YOU'RE AN ENLIGHTENED SOUL
A SIDE-SPLITTER......like Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Santa Clause...., YOU'RE AN INVINCIBLE GO-GETTER
AN OBSTACLE-OVERCOMING MOVIE....like A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Love Actually...., YOU'RE AN OPTIMISTIC ADVENTURER
What do you think? True or not?
(I think they should have paid me to make this thing up, and I would have tried to make it a little more interesting)
I hope you find 100 reasons to smile.

From my friend Bear....a story about a friend of his:
Someone donated a package of those handheld toys where you maneuver ball bearings to spots without disturbing the other ball bearings. Neil handed one to a kid one day and the lad was fascinated by it. Just lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree.
Two days later, they were patrolling a neighborhood with abandoned cars and piles of garbage in the street - any of which could conceal a mine or an IED. Neil said everyone was tense, watching doors windows, rooftops and sidewalks and the street itself. they were about to go down a street when a boy wearing a cloth sack over his head whistled and waved at them. Neil said the boy pointed down the street, shook his head and make a throat-cutting gesture. Neil gave the order to withdraw and go around. long story short, there had been an ambush.
Neil never told anybody at the time, but he recognized the clothes the kid wore - it was the one who got the little puzzle game.

Oh, D....I'm glad your gonna have a good day. Trish, take care of that headache! Yuck, I hate sinus headaches.
I'm bracing myself for a day out with Mom. We both love Sandra Lee (Semi-Home Made show) and she's here at the MOA for a book signing. So, we'll be off for that. Honestly I'm in no mood for the MOA today or people....but it'll mean the world to my mom. And she doesn't do much for herself, so I'll set down my whine today and drag her out. I am looking forward to just my mommy and me time.
Hmm, so I guess I'm a little of all....so I'll call myself a Creative, Enlighted, Invincible & Optimistic Adventurer. I love all Christmas movies.
I liked that story of Neil. It reminds me of my former bank robbing neighbor. Classic starter family. We became friends as they were our age. Had a little girl just 2 days before we had Andypants and the guy just couldn't handle the pressure of the finances. So he aparently started gambling to bring in more money. He got involved with some loan shark sort of people at the casino and he ended up loosing. Then the pressure became so intense he felt that he needed to rob some local credit unions. He was on his way to his 3rd one, he noticed that the clerks recognized him so he decided to leave and turn himself in. I was watching oh about 20 or so FBI agents and local police depts surround their house and spilling into my yard.
Long story short, he was so misunderstood. He was a good guy making some really bad decisions under pressure. I heard through his wife that he turned himself in because he was afraid of what would happen to him if he didn't (from the loan sharks). They had asked me to keep watch over the house as the wife and daughter moved out immediately. I did see activity there for about a couple of months. Strange people walking up looking in th
My heart still goes out to that guy and his family. I later heard that they divorced. I can understand why....but I think their divorce lasted longer than their marriage. But I learned from this that good people do bad things. But that doesn't make them bad people. So now I'm not so afraid what seems to be scary people, instead of running, I smile, and almost always I get a nice warm smile back.
Not a good day for me. Woke up to a real raspy voice. Sneezing and blowing. And I can feel heaviness in the chest. Well I guess I got a doozy. I feel awful! Blow, cough, cough.
My favorite all time Christmas movie is "White Christmas" I have watched it every year since I can remember. It was also my dad's favorite.
Hubby was going to take me shopping but I don't know if I'm up to it. The only problem is if I don't go today. What am I going to feel tomorrow or the next. Ugh..... sniff.
Sniff, cough, cough, blow
Very nice story about the little boy. Hope you have a great day. Cough, cough

Freezin' my somewhat off this morning. It was down into the 30s this morning....up to 42 now. Gonna be kickin' somewhat's this weekend if someONE doesn't get some freakin' firewood!!!!
Excited about going on the fibro cruise.....wish you all could go too. (poutin')
Make it a good day and go in a good way! Gentle hugs...
Seasonal movies. I guess I'm a little of everything because I like to watch them all.
It's sad to think of kids growing up in that invironment. Neil was lucky the little kid warned him of the ambush and wasn't there to led them into it. Maybe someday we will have Peace on Earth Good Will to Men.
Hope everyone has a great day.

take That! Heeee YA
I just got the call from Tori. Her puter is taking a small vacation. Either that or it's so cold up where she's living that it literally froze!
Seriously, she was trying to get her new camera software to work and it crashed.
She wanted to get her hello's out to everyone and she's so bummed that she can't get online to all of us here.
We've got a few spare puters around here collecting dust. And I am sensing that hubby needs a project. I'm hoping one of them will work for her. She's not too far away from where I live, so if all goes well I could get one up to her by this weekend.
But I'll call her later to see if she got hers working or not and maybe hubby can walk her through it.
She said that it just won't let her do hardly anything.
Poor Tori! So, send out your bestest puter vibes and lets hope she's back online soon!
Thanks!
