I have officially lost the tenuous hold I tried to keep on all of this.
I have had RLS issues for 2-3 years now, but since the FMS began during my hospitalization, it has gotten much worse. I am not resting, rarely sleeping, my legs and arms are always aching and itching to move, and I am going to lose it.
I had a sleep study and all she could tell me was when I get close to REM sleep (and this is WITH my muscle relaxers-the only time I sleep), my body twitches and jerks me out of it.
Please, someone give me some hope. I need it so badly.

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
((Please)) ask your doctor to try you on Requip for a month and see if it works. You start with a starter pack and the relief was quick and lasting for me. I'm on 1mg at night now. I have had RLS for years and I find ReQuip works the best. Good Luck and take care, Keleee :)
Read my post on the role spinal cord compression plays in triggering RLS. I have it in my back and it drives me insane. I have these orange glasses I wear in the evening to filter out blue light and they set it off so I think I'm not going to be able to wear them.
Also, have your ferritin irron levels checked. RLS can be caused by iron deficency. Mine has improved since getting my ferritin level up so long as I don't put my head back and get into a deep sleep before waking up.
YOU HAVE TO TRY VITAMIN E! i take 400-800mg pills when i feel the RLS coming on and it stops it! I also fall right to sleep with in 2hrs. You can get it a CVS and it really works.
Thanks for the info on Vitamin E. I need to order some vitamins so I'll order some.
I take Benadryl as a migraine preventative but I think I've been on it so long that it's not effective for anything other than that.
