For the first time ever (20 yrs), I'm considering requesting accommodation by way of voice recognition software. The post about Dragon Speaking Naturally got me thinking about it. Since I have to be on the computer a lot, I'm thinking if I could speak my email and student feedback, I'd hurt much less than if i have to type it. Anyway, has anyone done this? Is it a good idea or should I just come up with the $200 on my own and be quiet about it? What's the best way to go about it? Will I need doct. note or something? I work at a state university.
