I don't usually post anything on here unless I really need help. And today I really, and desperatly need help. My hips are absolutly killing me. I'm in so much pain that I can't hardly sit down. And when I do it takes me forever before I can stand for my butt to touch whatever I'm going to sit on. Today the pain is horrible the worst it's been in quite some time.
Please say a prayer for me, that I can make it the rest of the day. And my question is, has any of you ever hurt this bad through your hips and butt?? Hope everyone is having a good day and God Bless you, All My Love, Becky

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I get a lot of pain in my hips, butt and all over and it's from active myofascial trigger points.
Check out triggerpointbook.com and look for hip/butt and back pain and I bet you'll find you have them too.

I cannot sit alot of times...pain, numbness...makes me crazy cause I am not up to standing around all day either...sometimes it is Real bad...sometimes not so bad...when it gets to much for me, I make an immediete appointment with my massage therapist...take a warm ebson salt bath, an Ibuprophen, and try to ride it out...much like evry OTHER thing that seems to Constantly grab my attention..

Drs not sure what is causing it. Maybe a combo of sciatica, bursitis and fibro.
2nd phase: When you get up, go into shower and get warm. Then do some easy stretching exercises (those muscles running all down back of legs into heels (you will feel this). Do NOT over stretch. Do not stretch through the pain. Go right to the edge of it and hold for about 10 seconds. If you can, squat for about 10 secs. If you can, do a modified downward facing dog pose. The point is to keep those muscles stretched out. Just work up to it. I find that the more I can keep these muscles stretched, the less sciatic pain I have. Also helpful are really good walking shoes with custom insole.
