Here is the video I've mentioned before called "The Chilling Effect."
It's long, about an hour, and the first half is kinda slow, but it's very, VERY important to watch as it will help you understand just what the Drs are taught to think about us, not to mention how they are forced to "control" our treatment. It's guaranteed to inform and enrage you!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Andie, I watched the entire thing. I have to say, that I felt that these people were so in my head! It's shocking. I'm seriously know that the relief I am now getting (only for the last week) is only a temporary situation. I KNOW that someday, my doc will stop giving me meds due to the DEA (Damned Extreme A$$holes). I cannot even be happy about being relatively pain free, because I know that it's not going to last. Honestly, the DEA doesn't even put a dent in the REAL drug problem, so I feel they should be disbanned.
Thanks for this. I wish it would actually do some good, but it just reiterates the problem.
why is it as a country we are allowing this to take place ?? Pain meds that are prescribed BY our Dr.s are NOT the cause of Americas DRUG problem...but I spose it would be alot easier for our holier then tho government to regulate THAT then the real drug traffuckers...when was it that we gave our fedral goverment THIS much power...what are we going to do about it ??
I am on no pain meds...not because I do not need them...I do...but my stomach and brain simply cannot tolerate them...hell I cannot handle a simple beer anymore...BUT I do believe in the right to be able to go to your Dr...and get SOME relief...yes...what DID sean Die from ??...and WAS the other man pardoned or not...and how many other lives have been denied due to these laws ??
I DO NOT believe we live in a FREE SOCIETY when we cannot even get relief from pain...I did not also know what asprins do to you...I have taken asprin and ibuprophen like candy somedays when I am flareing...like the last few days...it actually does MORE harm to your body then these prescript meds do...I am sick about this...I am sick about alot of things...
thank you for bringing this to our attention...perhaps our dr.s need to come together and stand up for what they pledged...and we can stand behind them all the way...
Don't remember what he died from, sorry. And, yes, Mr. Paey was released from prison after 3yrs or so in prison.
I think like you do, that folks just don't "get it"... until it happens to them. They don't understand that what we're fighting for is something they very well might need in yrs to come if they get sick or injured and then have to live w/ chronic pain for the rest of their days. It's sad.
EXACTLY... we are now the "suspicious ones". Did you catch the part where they talked about the DEA's announcement in March 2003 (I think it was) where the "war on drugs" was turned away from the big drug cartels and their sights were focused on us? Completely unreal!
No, Sharon, it's not. This video was put together by real people who have lived through this. I find it funny that you consider this a "conspiracy theory" with all the things you post on here as being the cause for Fibro. Have you even cheched out the Pain Relief Network site?
