I'm on my third go around with Lyrica.. have been on savella, neurontin and cymbalta... no, no, no, and no. All of the doctors who have ever diagnosed or treated me for fibro are certain that this IS fibro that I have. And I am in constant crippling pain, mostly my legs. Hips, ankles, knees, feet and everything in between. As I just posted on another topic, I am now taking the maximum amount of OTC meds which barely take the edge off because the only pain med she would offer was ultracet which does absolutely nothing for me. I have never abused pain meds, yet my rheumy is treating me like a drug hound (never even displayed anything like that either) and had a prior PCP in the last year who was giving me vicodin and the like. Clearly some docs don't have a problem dispensing pain pills at the drop of a hat whereas others are stingy, but it makes so little sense, I hope when my rheumy hears how much Aleve/Tylenol etc I 'm taking she will give me something i can take less often that is more effective.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
