In the past year or so, my pain level has increased dramatically, and along with it, my medication dosage. I've read that when taken orally, much of the medication (percocet/oxycodone) is destroyed by the liver. This is why a lot of medications are injected (also why drug users inject rather than take orally). My question is, is there a form of percocet or other narcotic pain-killer that is injected?
