I'm sure you guys can all relate. Yesterday when I finally (thank Goodness!) got my pain meds refilled I strapped by 4 month old son in a front pack and got to work REALLY cleaning my apartment. It was long overdue! I cleaned out the closet, organized papers, dusted, swept, mopped, vacuumed and scrubbed. The works. I feel great about my accomplishment and everyone commented how wonderful my place looks--but now it is noon and I'm in bed. I just overdid it and now it feels that all my energy is gone. I'm exhausted and my legs hurt as if I'd run a marathon. I'm gong to try some stretches and whatever else I can do to NOT to let this get me down. But man oh man........cleaning HURTS!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I usually go on a cleaning marathon, and end up on my butt on the couch the next day, with my heating pad and meds...but my house will look GREAT!! Hope you feel better soon!
I do th same thing all the time and I need to stop it..Im so stubborn Im glad Im not alone though Feel better soon
Even when you pain is under control, you have to still take it easy and not over do. I try to cram as much into a painfree day as possible and I know better. Or, there is something I want to do, and do it anyway, knowing I am pushing myself beyond my limits.
Hope you feel better soon.
