I read one discussion where some of you use crockpots. I'm starting to use mine. I just realized that it's too big for the meals I prepare. There are just two of us and I have a 6-qt. crockpot that cooks for 8 or more. The crockpot is not always half full and the sides of my meal gets burned. Does anyone know how to cook with smaller meals in a larger crockpot? I read that cooking times may be different but I don't know what to change. I don't want to have to buy a smaller crockpot when I already have one.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
